Redness or swelling of the skin, warmth and tenderness to the touch, pain or discomfort, tight, shiny, or glassy appearance of the skin, fever or chills, swollen lymph nodes.
Your provider will plan a customized treatment plan for you that may include topical or oral medications or in severe cases, hospitalization. If left untreated, cellulitis can travel to other parts of the body potentially having serious complications.
