Dr. Justin Sawyer
MEET DR. SAWYER
Dr. Justin Sawyer is a Board Certified Dermatologist who focuses on general dermatology, skin cancer detection, prevention and treatment. He enjoys helping his patients understand their skin conditions so that the best course of treatment can be selected.
Dr. Sawyer is originally from east central Illinois. After graduating valedictorian from Mattoon High School, Justin attended Duke University where he majored in biology. He then returned to Illinois where he received a full congressional scholarship to the University of IL College of Medicine.
After an internship in internal medicine at UCLA, Dr. Sawyer moved to Tucson for his dermatology training. He has been practicing in Mesa since finishing his dermatology residency at the University of Arizona in 2002. Dr. Sawyer received the highest score in the country on the American Board of Dermatology recertification exam.
Dr. Sawyer enjoys Duke basketball, researching diet and exercise science, and spending time with his wife and their two children.
