Also known as urticaria, are a common skin conditions characterized by red, raised, itchy welts that can appear anywhere on the body.

SYMPTOMS

Red, raised welts on the skin, itching or burning sensations, swelling around the affected areas, blistering or oozing in severe cases.

TREATMENT

Your provider at Skin Care Specialists will plan a customized treatment plan for you that may include the use of antihistamines to reduce the itching and inflammation. In severe cases, oral or topical steroids may be prescribed.
